Handling Issues Tab in SO

As the production of the order is finished, Salesperson is responsible to check the produced products by completing Quality Control (QC) process. In order to record and store the observation on QC Samples received from Vendor, Sales Department and Purchasing Department are using QC Delivery module (Refer to ‘Handling QC in SO’ SOP). If a quality problem has been detected, Salesperson creates a QC Ticket in Helpdesk Module (Refer to ‘Handing QC Tickets’ SOP).

As for the cases where the product’s quality has no issues, but packaging requires revisions to be done in the future orders, the ‘Issues’ tab in SO shall be used.

The main feature of the tab is not only recording and storing the information, but sending a notification to a Salesperson when a product is chosen to be quoted. Following of the below described process will eliminate the risk of the valuable information being forgotten and revisions undone.

1. While doing QC, record the comment of what has to be revised:

2. Locate the product in SO:

3. Click on ‘Issues’ Tab, ‘New Issue’

4. Record the issue and click ‘SAVE’

5. The issue will have an SO number, a date when it was created and a status that will be updated as the issue is resolved:

All issues of the products ordered by Customer will be shown under the Customer contact card:
