Building the Targeted Prospects List

Good prospects may be identified in the above processes in which BD Salesperson wants to specifically pursue. BD Salesperson can accumulate this list of “Targeted Prospects” to be handed to the Marketing Dept. for additional marketing assistance while continuing to engage with the Prospect.

REQUIREMENTS:

Prospects that have fulfilled all prerequisites and passed verification requirements.
Prospects that are still negotiating on some prerequisites but excel at verification.
Prospects that are still under prerequisites/verification but subjectively identified as suitable Customer for the purpose of developing a product range in a specific market.

FREQUENCY:

It is recommended to update the list daily as good prospects are encountered during daily email exchange. The list will be updated once-twice every two week by the Marketing Dept.

Note: A calendar event is set every 2 weeks as a reminder to update the list before being updated by Marketing Dept.

STEPS:

1. Open the “Targeted Marketing User List” G-sheet file.

2. Open the “DB_Clients_List” sheet.
3. Input the information of the Prospect on an empty row at the bottom of the list, such as:
Email address
Country
Phone
First Name of contact person
Last Name of contact person
Other emails CC’d in the company
ZIP code of the company location
Note: Input all information as complete as possible even though the fields are not all mandatory.
4. In BD Salesperson’s Gmail, tag the Prospect’s email thread with the label “Targeted Prospects”.
