BD Salesperson will send a task to RA Specialist under the Registration Project to take over the new registration. RA Specialist can open the Registration Project from this task. On the project page, RA Specialist can find the details regarding this registration:
Handover Task
In the handover task, BD Salesperson will ask Purchasing Specialist to provide any information related to the Vendor for this registration. It may also have a brief summary of some specific instructions regarding that registration.
Generally, Purchasing Dept. has clarified all requirements regarding the registration requirements with Vendor and provide summary over task of which documents can/cannot be provided by the vendors. When a document cannot be provided, BD Salesperson will assess and offer a solution whether by providing different documents, or by asking RA Specialist to source the document from our Agent.
Task Overview and Description
The basic details of the registration project be seen on the overview of the task, such as: SO# used to refer to the project, Internal Customer Code, Registration Country, BD Salesperson responsible for the project, as well as the assigned Purchasing Person as the company’s main person of contact for the Vendors.
More detailed information of the registration can be found on the task description. BD Salesperson will include the information regarding:
1. Existing/New Client: whether this Customer has had prior registration/order.
2. Registration Requirements: the list of registration requirements for the country as per provided by the Customer.
Note: Some countries have its own guidelines and templates for registration documents. When BD Salesperson receives these requirements, the guidelines will be saved in a folder in the database. Link to that folder will be shared under point No. 2. Check the guidelines/templates to fully understand the requirements.
Registration Agreement (RA)
Once the registration requirements are understood, RA Specialist can take over the Registration Agreements (RA) of the registration project. As 1 RA is created per Vendor, there can be more than one 1 RA in a registration SO. Locate the RA(s) by opening the “Opportunity Info” tab on the task overview and scrolling down to the “Registrations” section.
Each RA has an assigned number as well as the Vendor Name. Click on the “RA####” to find more information of the products, required documents, etc. for this registration with the Vendor.
Before proceeding further with the RA, RA Specialists must make sure to understand the registration requirements. If there are any questions, RA Specialist needs to ask BD Salesperson or Purchasing Person right away.
