Product development is the entire process for taking a new product from an idea to market. The steps in product development include identifying new demands and opportunities in the marketplace, conceptualizing a solution, developing the product, and mapping the marketing strategy.
Marketing Department is responsible for the market research before a new product is developed. After a new product has been developed, meaning that it has been ordered to a factory, Marketing Department will start the process to create the new product packaging.
Types of Development

Product Improvements
A product improvement is to make one or more changes to an already existing product. The change(s) usually are related to the quantity of ingredients, the product form (for example, capsule, tablet, syrup) and/or the ingredients’ dosages.
