Promotional Products are the products prepared by Marketing Dept. and sent to Customer along with the ordered products. Promotional Products help the Customer sell the goods by promoting AdvaCare brands, logos, branded products. Promotional Products are various and could display one or more of the following:
AdvaCare Pharma logo
AdvaCare Pharma brand logo
Distributor logo
Promotional Products could be bags with logo, flyers, posters, displays, calendars, T-shirts, etc. Promotional Products are sent together with the goods and therefore, must be declared and added to SHP model.
How to add Promotional Products to SHP
1. Locate and open the relevant SHP document in the System.
2. Switch to 'Products' tab.
3. In the bottom of Products table, click 'Add a line' button.
4. Inside product pop-up, click 'Product' field and start typing Promotional Product name, for example "Flyer" and choose the relevant option from the dropdown.
5. After the product is selected, choose the relevant packaging in 'Packaging'.
6. In 'Customs Details' section, choose 'Promo' option to indicate that this product refers to Promotional Products, as the description fields are slightly different from 'Normal' products.
7. Once product, packaging and product type are selected, scroll down to 'Purchase Details' section and fill out the quantity field, for example '500', according to the details of Promotional Products to be shipped provided by Marketing Dept.
8. Fill out 'CBM', 'New Weight per Carton', 'Gross Weight per Carton', 'Packs per Carton' as described in Adding Products to SHP SOP, according to details provided by Marketing Dept.
9. Click 'SAVE & CLOSE' or 'SAVE & NEW' to add more products if required.
10. After all Promotional Products are added to SHP, click 'SAVE' on top of the screen.
IMPORTANT: Logistics Person is responsible to check and make sure to have correct information in SHP model, that would reflect the correct and final products in the shipment, correct and final quantities of each product, correct and final CBM and weight information. All this information will be reflected in the exported documents for related to shipment booking, BL, customs clearance, so it has to be absolutely correct.
