Virtual Meeting Setup

Before you start your first video call

Google meet can be used from Gmail service.
You can login gmail.com from a computer, or add your account to the Gmail app on your phone or tablet.

Start a video call

Follow the instructions below when you need to initiate a video call in your device.

1. Open Meet

2. In the middle of the page, on the right side, click on Join or start a meeting

3. Optional: write a nickname or leave blank to start your own meeting.

4. Click on Continue

5. Before you join your first meeting, make sure to allow permissions for your Microphone and Camera. Once you have granted permission,

   • To turn your microphone on or off, click Microphone icon.
   • To turn your camera on or off, click Camera icon.

6. To enter the call, click on Join now

7. To send the meeting invitation via link or email, you can do any of the following options mentioned below

   • To copy the meeting invitation details, click Copy joining info
   • To send an invitation email, click on Add people, write the email address of a meeting participant and press enter or select the contact. Finally, click on Send email

Note: You can invite as many participants as you need.

8. To end the call, click on Leave icon.

Join a video call

Follow the instructions below when you need to join a video call in your device.

1. Open Meet

2. In the middle of the page, on the right side, click on Join or start a meeting

3. Write the meeting code or nickname to join the meeting.

4. Click on Continue

5. Before you join your first meeting, make sure to allow permissions for your Microphone and Camera. Once you have granted permission,

   • To turn your microphone on or off, click Microphone icon.
   • To turn your camera on or off, click Camera icon.

6. To enter the call, click on Join now

7. To end the call, click on Leave icon.
